See the app developing. We start with sketches of what the various screens might look like. Are the right buttons in the right place? Would you find your way around?
The challenge for the time-use app we are developing is to allow users to enter 'what they are doing' on a small smart phone screen. We try to avoid scrolling and use of keyboards as much as possible. If we can find five appropriate terms that each lead to five sub-terms, then three clicks would be enough to distinguish between over one hundred activities. This Excel document is a first attempt.
